Hi Jock , one thing is for sure that it is easier to fake Late Rzm daggers than the early ones. Early ones can be messed with but cant be copied. There is a difference between material usage and the span of years. Towards the 1940 period "junk metall was being used and its this same type of junk metal thats being used today to fake Late RZMs. Stay with the early makers you cant go wrong, and over time and study your eyes will sharpen. Eickhorn ground Rohms are hard to fake, so you got a good one in your possession. regards Larry
