Recently upgraded my SA Dienstdolch from a fairly nice RZM to an earlier one. I saw this Tiger and just had to get it Gruppe marked 'He' which I believe is Hessen according to the 'Makers' sticky thread here on the Forum.

Hands clapping !! The dark grip is correct for this maker and the crossgrain is quite Mint looking. Although another common maker...but yet not so commonly seen as much. Lauterjung & Co. was a great producer of these. Nice solid example . Regards Larry

I've always had a liking for the earlier Tigers! Look at the quality of the grip fit-the fine dark engraving and one of the coolest makers marks out there! The wood is so dark, it could be used on an SS! An Excellent pick up by any standards! Nice find!
