SA Ground Rohm Ehrendolch

A classic early Pack piece. All the nickel mounts and straight across lower crossguard. The tang nut looks to be never touched. Lower reverse crossguard is marked with the gruppe "WF", Westfalen. The grip is smooth with nicely toned wood. The SA runes button show a slightly dark patina; no problems with the enamel. The nickel eagle is the high necked style with all full details. Scabbard is straight with pretty good anodizing and good color. Original short SA hanger, still supple and complete with small retainer loop; early unmarked snap clip. The blade is still mostly bright having no real problems. The SA motto is crisp and has about 95% of its original background darkening. The blade reverse has had a factory Rohm removal. About half of the hammering Siegfried and the location town of Solingen are visible. The blade shoulders meet the lower crossguard contour. All in all, a very decent example of a ground Rohm. Hitler ordered Rohm's name taken off every dagger that was manufactured, hundreds of thousands. If an SA man was caught with one that was not ground he was subject to arrest.

i think they do that especially for you Ade, the first think i do is looking if the dagger is placed the proper way in it scabbard, hahahahha
(I cant believe they know that much about a dagger and then place it the other wau around in the scabbard)
