the handle and crossguards are real,,the blade is a post-ww 2 manufacture for allied troops so they can get a "souvenir"...usually this blade is found with a plastic handle instead of wood,,,

thanks for the replies guys,
it is amazing how good this blade looks! i have some other daggers both sa and nskk. even if you take the dagger apart there is a "schmiedemark" showing. also the crossgrain as exact as a original one.

Most parts are original, but daggers are assembled after the war.
