Nice,I have never seen a white scabbard before. It is a listed makers mark, nice chain.I would guess $800-$1000 maybe more.I wonder if it was painted for some reason or maybe for an offcers dress summer uniform .

From the picture, it appears the black paint is off the scabbard and what appears to be white is bare metal. I stronly doubt that an individual would paint his scabbard white as it would be contrary to regulation. A very nice dagger that needs some professional restoration work done to the scabbard.
To answer your question, this is the Model 1936 National Socialist Kraft Korp(NSKK) dress dagger.

Thumbs up Re: Sitting in cupboard for 20 years

what looks white is actually a darkish pink anodising, thats the stuff thats coming off. Quite unusual to have a pink scabbard so I'm guessing this was added at a later date. I assume the black underneath is original so as you say needs a little work to restore it to original. Thanks for your comments ! James

Not sure about the scabbard screws , they have been added at a later date and the chain dosent seem to match the condition of the scabbard have you any better pics of the chain links please?
    cheers Ronnie
