This is a late war RZM but its in Super condition.
The overall fit is great, no big gaps, no chrome lifting.
A scabbard thats straight no dents, all paint is there, and an virgin ball at the top.
The insignia are perfectly inlayed, and now we come to the screamer: the Blade!
Its a full 100% cross grain blade, with perfect dark grey burnish, the grain realy pops of the blade.
Normally i search for the early ones, but having a RZM in the condition is just Super.
Enjoy this lovely dagger.
Cheers,
Ger
You're spot on with this one, Ger! No runner marks, paint chips-no nothing. It doesn't matter all that much if it is a late war when it's in This kind of shape. Look at the shine on that grip eagle! This one didn't bang around on some Brown Shirt's belt for years! Beautiful find!

Throw it in the trash...its missing the little brown leather hold down retaining loop found on the hanger................Other than that...Minty Mint!!
The wood is perfect..and the type I like seeing on these late examples...and has perfect contour ridges. The runes button is perfectly inlayed. A beauty from head to toe...or tang nut to tip.

Absolutely MINT! They don't come any better than this. Who cares if it's not an early one! There are no traces of deteriation whatsoever. Congretulations on this find and thanks for sharing Ger
