    Ok will do

    1. The blade appears to be over cleaned on the front and the back retains decent crossgrain.
    2. An observation of a 1938 Eickhorn squirrel on a dated 1939 blade.
    3. Blade shoulders are not snug to the lower crossguard and would expect a little more tighter fit being an Eickhorn Transitional. Unlike other mid to late producers who really didn't care how it looked as long it was counted and out the door it went.

I would not kick this dagger to the curb nor let it in my house but something about the motto rubs me the wrong way. Nor were my daughters ex boy visitors made me feel warm and fuzzy. A Hole was always freshly dug in the backyard.

But who is to say except that these are my Honest observations and no one likes a critic

Likewise, my 'warm and fuzzy' meter after a closer look left me wondering. The "tune up", pitting at the cross guards, and the pommel nut (?) from my perspective not putting this example in my own 'keeper' category. Best Regards, Fred
