1053/38? or fake?
Hello All, I have the chance to get this 1053/38 SS W.K.C, Solingen as you can see from the pictures its well salty! In my mind i recon its a fake but i have a limited experience with these, the price is very attractive which also worries me too!anywhoo please have a look at the picture and any info would be helpful

Hi RsViper welcome to the forum..unfortunately as pointed out by Harry..the whole thing is bad. Check out this thread and compare in details what a RZM 1053 /38 should look like from the collection of one of our advanced SS collectors.

The grip is noticeable a recent application with no curvature or diameter.
Read through some of the other threads when you get a chance..there is alot to absorb..and we have some top guys in their particular area of study that will be able to answer any questions you may have. Regards Larry

Unfortunately, I also have to agree. It's a mess of modern made parts and put together for the sole purpose of taking money from a collector who doesn't know what to look for. Walk away from this one, Andy, and hang onto your money for that Good one that's out there waiting for you to find it!

As you have already been told by the resident experts. This is not one you want. I am by far an expert on these and still a student in learning. But One thing I have been told to look at, is the location of the eagle on the grip. It is located lower than the originals.
