I collected SS daggers few years. This favorit daggers in my collection. I say my option about this dagger. If you dont like? can we please tell me how can early blade and late scabarian stay on daggers ? About eagle, ss button and handle i dont say because bad foto and this detal dont see.

I think u all owe ARMLEG an apology ,He was right the dagger turned out to be a fake ! as Adrian stated in another post ss daggers with 1936 stamped into them are fakes from the 70's. no one can be right all the time.

The dagger IMO is parts dagger with a fake blade,,the kissing cranes body are not symetrical to each other in shape. Although it has been buffed profusely..it would still show signs of the original detail..which is lacking in quite areas of the logo. Also the added per se..1936 stamp on the tang also dictates it is post war. No need for apologies....we are all learning here. The tang has been ground down too..which is not a good sight to see as it looks recent. The grinding of tangs could of happened during the initial fitting,,, but 70+ years would not of protected the shine it has now. Regards Larry

I do think some do actually need to apologize. Learning is one thing, a derogatory remark to a member is another!!!!!
