Hello,

imo its a parts dagger.
Agree with Harry
The Guards are Thuringia produced used on SA daggers ...Im leaning on Melzer and Feller . The accent grooves are very shallow in depth. Poor grip to guard fit makes sense!
Tangnut does not belong as it appears to be from a later period...and has plier marks all over it. This dagger has been opened.
The scabbard is questionable and leads me to think this was NSKK by the type paint that was used. Not one for my collection ..and with much question.
The grip appears to be a very worn SS .
Would like to hear the thoughts from JR and Kreta.

Personally, I'm wondering if the grip might not be a stained and converted SA into an SS. The rondelle and the grip eagle have obviously been messed with and likely replaced. In short, the dagger is a mess and definitely not original. Not worth looking at-sorry.

You guys are absolutely correct on all of the above, including the dyed SA grip.
Thank you very much for all replies!
