Theres nothing wrong with it, blades not great but grips ok. Finding a scabbard the right length will be a the problem beings its a sword. Theyre not like a dagger where any scabbard will fit all, you need one the right length which makes chances slimmer.

Im not aware of solid nickel police swords therefore the risk of any of this type being a converted police sword is always very slim.

Agreed with Mattty..also another observation which is rarely encountered are the 13 ribs on the grip...most examples have 14. Regards Larry

    Hi Larry

    Thank you
Is it a concern with grip only having 13 ribs?
Hope it's not a red flag issue?

The grips fine Ado. 13 ribs for all swords early or late, the only thing that altered was the position of the disc.

Is this yours for sale? or are you looking to buy?

I can take a picture of mine tomorrow if your buying but it looks similar to the one pictured.
