Not a whole lot to work on, Kevin, but I'm not liking the appearance of the grip eagle, I know. The wood around it looks to have been worked on. We would, of course, also need to see the makers mark, the roundel, upper guard, etc. Is there a sheath with it?

Hi Kevin, I agree with William: certainly evidence of tampering around the eagle. That alone would kill it for me, unless it was very cheap. The crossguard appears to be zinc. This would make it an RZM quality dagger.
