for that price I would want it perfect,not that I would pay that sort of money for a dagger.
Looks like a "parts" dagger
These guards do not belong with this particular dagger....the combination is wrong..which these were added IMO. The Kulturzeichen runes tab belongs with either a Type A or B1...this chained example appears to be a B2.
One thing is for sure when it comes to high end daggers like this....I would put my trust locally in a reputable source.

A fit that bad is not due to mere drying shrinkage-it is, indeed, a parts dagger. The chain, as has already been mentioned, has several issued going against it also. Even if this whole rig were in good order, for $9,500 I would Still expect to have the wooden grip intact and in better condition than this one is. I'm sure for that kind of money, a top of the line Model 36 could easily be found. This one is rubbish.
