I have one of these as well and am looking to sell. It is not an early example - I know the ones made in 1934 and 1935 are more desirable - but its good condition makes up for some of the quality in the construction materials that the dagger is lacking, i.e. painted instead of blued finish scabbard, aluminum grip eagle instead of nickel, etc. This piece was made in 1938 - at this date nickel and silver were going to the wartime build-up, not dress daggers. Pics available.
