In my opinion the dagger being an RZM marked blade does not belong to the Chained Scabbard, also looks like the plating has worn off the dagger but not off the Chains.
The SS Proof mark on the first upper link is very heavily stamped.
The centre band on the Scabbard is very crudely cast.
For an early type2 Chain the details are not very well defined.
My opinion .... but I’m no expert, but I would not part with money for it.
The detailing on the skulls looks extremely low… I'm no expert either but that alone would make me walk away.

Run away from it.
There is not one single part of this dagger that is original.
But we can see that fakers are getting better and better...
