Thanks Ger for the help !
To tell the truth, I'm not really liking this one all that much. The sheath, for one thing, has almost certainly either been refinished or replaced-it fits well and the finish is fairly well done, though, so it likely belongs with the dagger. The maker is M7/80 Gustav C. Spitzer of Solingen and the guards are of a later plated variety but the sheath fittings do not appear to be so-or else they were refinished along with the sheath body. The grip is fairly well beaten up and not a very good fit, as it has several openly noticeable gaps-particularly on the upper guard, but this could possibly be from poor storage shrinkage. If there is any crossgrain on the blade, I am not able to see it from the photos, so the blade could well have been buffed and polished, as there is no blacking in either the motto or the makers marks. What are they asking for this one?

Who is offering this dagger? I have seen these photos before if they are the same ones I'm thinking of from a few years ago.

Yes, the grip has some chipped and corrosion on the crossguards . It is not the mint condition.
