Re: SS Dagger Blade (unmounted)
Sorry...this blade never came out of a German war-era factory- and especially not from an Eickhorn factory.. The diamond shaped tang is totally unbelievable and the wear pattern on the ridge of the blade-where is it supposed to have come from? The scabbard it was never in? From the cleaning? Look at the edges of the etched motto....they're totally crude and unacceptable. This blade is a 100% fraud that was never assembled into anything and from it's configuration, I don't see how it ever Could have been.

Re: SS Dagger Blade (unmounted)
Much as I hate to say it I believe this could be an early Denix or perhaps a well made early repro that has been severly messed with.I do not think the Deutsche Reichs patent would ever let a blade for an SS dagger in this condition out of their factory much less pass muster.Sorry but I agree with your other detractors unfortunately. It is decieving but the quality is just not there.
