Better pictures would help to confirm, but first impression is good. Looks to be a nice Herder with typical "Slim Jim" Herder grip.
Hi John the pics are not so good but ik looks like an original SS dagger only the blade looks heavily cleaned.
Is there a scabbard with it?
Regards Rafael
The dagger appears to be authentic. I cant tell if a flash was used..but there is alot of unnecessary light being used. Fortunately ...the amount of light was at the breaking point..leaving enough room to view the details.
Is there a scabbard?

Yes its fine.
The giveaway to herder daggers is the grip is thinner (as said above) and the eagle is positioned lower than any other maker.
keep an eye out for these two things when buying herder SS daggers.

Thanks to you all. I've attached some photos of the scabbard that belongs to the dagger.
Any thoughts?
John
It's good-both the dagger and the sheath. As said, a heavily cleaned blade, but other than that, there's not much to complain about on it. Would like to see it outside in natural light, but from what we Can see of it, there is no problem.

I agree with the others flintlock as for originality I see no problem.
Condition is a completely different ball game, you can probably judge all that for yourself in hand.
hopefully you can get a good deal on it or whatever your trying to do.
