SS dagger number on scabbard fitting ?

Hi guy's i have an SS dagger with a number barely visible on the lower scabbard fitting, it is to difficult to take a pic with my camera so sorry i cant post pic's of it (yet) i have read that it is uncommon to see this but it was done the number is 95877 or 95577 can anyone kindly give me any info on this number or a cost for tracing it many thank's Ronnie

Hi Ronnie, that is certainly unusual. I cannot actually recall seeing one done like that before?

Most researchers will do a quick search on the number to see if anything comes up and then give you a quote.

Thank's Ade, i have seen one in the Whittmann book on SS sword's and daggers and that is the only reason i know about it and it say's there that it is "uncommon" thank's again, Ronnie

and Hal it's really hard to pic up on my camera that's why i have no pic's yet, but i have dropped the hint for a micro PC camera 4 crimbo and then i will post pic's of it thank's again guy's Ronnie
