Hi Sepp welcome to the forum...I am hoping these are not the only photos you may be able to provide to us. As of right now without clearer photos especially in the areas of the Whole motto and close ups of the front of the grip including both emblems,, the back of the grip,, the tang nut, crossguard accent grooves,, and RZM number...without these extra photos..the dagger is a repro. Looking forward to better pics. Regards Larry

Welcome Sepp! This one concerns me a bit but see what better pictures yield. Also get some more folks weighing in.

The logo is badly executed and as usual with these repro's on a bad brushed or no cross grain blade.
With logo's like this ive seen enough....its a repro.
When you magnify the logo just a few times you see how bad it realy is, also notice the strange pitting...cast faults?

My 2 cents - the font for the makers mark is incorrect from what I know. That would indicate to me the blade is not original, regardless of whether or not the rest is.

Did you mean the font that been posted here and compared with his dagger?
The problem is that the maker of that book has posted over 70 Motto's in his book which a few are not even correct for the makers they supposed to belong to.
Just look at that Motto and look where its place on the blade, look for the high ridge...im not too font of that one either.
In this way the autor asked for pics in the collecting community and did not had all daggers in hand, therefore mistakes are easily made.
Its like the papers...dont believe all thats been printed....make sure you have more then one "reference book" and compare and study.
Thats the only way to collect now a days...
