Relic of a SS Dagger found in the swamp of a Little Lake near my home Town.
At end of war some items and weapons were hidden in the Lake. Due to cleaning the raining piepes they found the Dagger last year.

Looks to have been made into a combat knife, probably by Occupying Allied troops.
The way the handle is altered, cut off and ground down.
Beyond recognition...but with early nickel guards or whats left of them ..and a possible RZM type dagegr by the appearance of the double circle on the corroded blade.
Count this one dead

Dead indeed but I kinda like him. It has something sad...
I can only imagine the circumstances he was into...
A interesting relic. If we knew the location of the lake we might be able to speculate on who modified it. Well worth keeping as a curiosity.
Alittle simi chrome and some elbow grease and that blade will shine right up!
This Blade is with a bigger RZM Circle. Perhaps a 1052.
The vintage code is still visible. I like it as it is. Reworked as a '' garden Tool '' .
