as a novice on these i see no red flags, a ss engraved dagger is very desirable, not the best condition but scarce indeed, it looks fine. george w
Hello Goerge
Do you think both of them are original? There two daggers in the pictures.. One of the dagger is rare Ernst Rohm dedication..does it look good and original?
sorry, they both look good to me with my eyes, george w
It will be interesting to see what others think about the SS rohm and its inscription!! those are rare!!! have you read about them yet?
notice the cross gaurd is numbered too... does seem to have been bumped on the blades edges though. I would suggest some better ,larger pics.if thats possible. you might have a real nice find there
You will never get these daggers if its from him,and u wont see your money either.
hi ,yeah thats sad as the one looks very nice !
I have written an article about buying safely online, see the "Disscussions" forum. It is a pinned thread. You were lucky this time. This is a classic case of something being offered far too cheap to trap the unwary.
Cheers, Ade.
There is a old saying in the U.S. "if it looks to good to be true, run for the hills'' I would take the advise of the forum the dagger may be real but the seller has a bad reputation.PASS
Yes, he is a well known conman. Those daggers aren't even his,he just takes the pic's from other sites.Thats why the backgrounds on the daggers are different. I believe a member of WAF or GDC forum played him along and asked him to send a picture of himself holding the daggers. He actually sent the forum member a pic of himself sitting down with a cutout photo of an ss dagger on his lap! He's burned a lot new collectors.
