right in the middle is were the ss chained ramp was and thats why the paint is little there but iam very happy to have an original...

Glad you like it Pammy. It is a first type scabbard as evidenced by the provision for the single screw to hold the chain ramp fitting in place. All the paint is original.

(The top and bottom fittings I sent Pammy as a gift and are not original to the scabbard shell.)

hi ade,thanks i did notice the sqrew were it used to be! thanks for letting me know!! and thanks for the gift as they look great on it for display!! iam realy happy!! these is a very nice item to have as you said the paint is original and no dents! thanks so much.in the one picture you have makes it look like a dent in it??i dont see one at all ..thats crazy or my eyes are realy getting bad?
