I wanted to get some professional feedback on this SS dagger. Is this a decent purchase. I always appreciate the help before making a big leap! Thank you!

    Hi Sam,

The scabbard appears re painted to me, I can see runs in the paint and it looks a bit too fresh. The grip to crossguard fit is not particularly good, but they can shrink. The blade looks o.k. I would be wary, the price is tempting, but better wait for other opinions.

    Regards, Ned.

Im afraid i dont like the damage to the top crossguard which should reflect in the price, the shrinkage to the grip i thought would also affect the outer paint covering but there appears to be no cracking, the scabbard does look like a repaint but these photos are'nt the best to judge by

As said, the photos are not that great. The white background washes out details.

There are enough available for sale that you will eventually find a good,
unmessed with example - if you are patient ! The cost of an SS dagger
alone would make me want to hold off until I found the best one
possible and not 'dive in' too quickly.

Sam, keep posting them here for comment, and you will end up
    with a really nice one.........
    Regards,

    Steve.
