SS Rohm Dagger ..... RZM

Article about: Hi All, Just come across this dagger and my thoughts are it’s not quite right .... I was always led to believe the Carl Eickhorn Logo was always a lot closer to the cross guard to allow room

Hi Larry .... Yes I’ve just looked back to the post you refer to!
The one on GHW does not mention it was originally a Rohm Dagger when I made my comment, you commented on the 22/05, then pointed out a bit later on 12/10 that it was originally a Rohm and used Lakesidetrader Advert as an explanation.
I’m fine with that, my concern was as it was a Rohm the Logo is placed high up the Blade, and you don’t often see Rohm’s with the C.E under the squirrel.
The reasons I use the GHW as well is sometimes you can get different views and opinions as there is quite a variety of knowledge on both sites.
Your opinion counts in many ways, I’ve been collecting for many years and confess I learn something new every visit to the Forums.

    Thanks Ger ...
I also asked why would that particular model have the logo high up the Blade when all the others I’ve seen is close to the crossguard.
And never seen a Rohm with the C.E in the Oval.
Not disputing anything, more of a lesson being learnt!!
Not all of these blades had the dedication on the reverse.

Most of these early blades were factory stock and after the RZM took control, the rzm logo were applied.
I own one of these reissued blades, but with the small TM with RZM above, non grinded.
    Regards Gerd

    Best Regards Larry

Right Larry, the big TM with RZM below and the small with RZM above.
There are always an important detail on both versions, the etch of the TM vs RZM is different, which is a evident that it was done at different times
