Ss sword...legit or fake??

Hello everyone. I need some opinions on this SS sword I just came across. Never seen this style before. Perhaps a fake? or a type Ive never seen until now? Your input would be appreciated

As far as I know this is a WWI type sword - ruined by bogus
SS runes being etched on and filled with paint.........

The sword is an original Dove Head pattern from WW2. Worn by NCO's etc.

The runes are the big issue here.....when were they added and by whom....

Not much to add to what has been said other than some are a little more "creative" with the added fake SS markings.

Good evening gents, there is reference to this style sword having engraved SS runes and being used by the SS pre 1936 (when the ss degen came out) as there was no other sword to dedicated to the SS.

Whether this particular sword was engraved during the period is anybodys guess.
