The coffin shaped backing is new leather and someone added a period retainer buckle.
Poor stamping on center support tab.

As I thought ... this is about the third Vertical Hanger sold by WW2 German Daggers in the UK that’s not right but again sold as 100% genuine.

This piece in question doesn't match any genuine vertical hangers of the manufacturer of the 1/......by Stevade
I know this dealer, he also " work hand in hand " with an big us dealer. Further I've seen these 1/... vertical's on a manufacturer's website from India!

Thanks Gerd .... I have seen quite a few items this Dealer sells as 100% genuine being absolute rubbish.
Not sure who else he works with hand to hand but my guess is Military Antiques.
