Much of what we see on internal markings on SA and SS guards and tangs all come from the same producers or foundries sub contracted by the original producer.

The question would be what SS producers used the commonly seen guards and tangs.
Fishers Reference is collection of data comprised from the present Solingen Stadt archives..which is a guide in the right direction of the markings found on a series of the same types of daggers.

You are correct Marc..on the internet there is not enough info on these markings except what has been disassembled on many threads on these kind of websites.

Thanks a lot for your answer Larry! Really appreciated indeed.

Yes, all I can find are specific opened daggers that can not lead to any conclusion.

Will try to get Fisher's reference book. This may a very powerful tool to identify parts daggers besides the obvious incorrect fittings... also to identify what runnes pins and birds where used by producers... and grip shapes... but that is "ninja level"...

Thanks again Larry. Have a nice day!

    Best regards,

    Marc
