    Hello
    here my newest founds
    The first is a M35 DD Luftwaffe with the rests of the early eagle and the swr shield found in bavaria
    It is in size 68 and it have a battledamage that looks like somewere bitten a piece out of the helmet
    the second is also a M35 found at ostfront
    it is poor the half side of the helmet where the other side ?

    it seems that the second helmet were hitten hard
    Is it a good groundfound or poor a piece of junk
    I found this Items myself and i digged out there
    I Need your opinions and ideas for this helmets

    I found the half one in the near of berlin(easternfront) and the other in Bavaria

    Look like traces of a LW eagle on the Bavarian one, maybe a soak in an electrolysis bath to remove the rust, or oxalic solution if you are feeling brave?

    i have cleaned it and bath him in oxal
    If I would be made the helmet wet i see the 2 decals
    I have fear to destroy the decals

    I would not advise to use electrolysis on items like this as it "shears" off all oxidation and often it is just said oxides that still hold on the paint, i.e. if this were to be cleaned with electrolysis you would just be left with a bare piece of metal without paint , or, depending of the state of rusting nothing at all
