Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Nice helmets. Do they have any liners or liner remains? Do you know where they came from?
those are top shelf relics full of character!
A nice pair of relic stahlhelm's luis ,thanks for showing any chance of a picture of the inner remains please
thanks james
The first helmet has no liner it was found in Kurland inside a trench , items around it suggest it was a luftwaffe position. The second one is from Russia I believe it was used at a certain point as a grave marker, it has a nail hole on teh crown and remnants of wood attached to the inner part of the helmet.
