As has been stated already IOffer is a minefield of fake rubbish !!
The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

    1st July 1916

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Scammers are currently active on iOffer. Just a few months back photos of one of our member's collection were stolen from this forum. The scumbag thief placed the photos on IOffer in attempt to sell a collection he didn't even have. Fortunately the guy was removed before his listing could sell, but still that proves that iOffer is not safe. The sellers and items cannot be trusted.

Having browsed through a lot of the offerings on iOffer at one time, I wouldn't touch anything there with a 10-foot Pole.

Mikeyplease provide photos when asking for opinions. But iOffer is a waste of time. Use your time to study oneof the good helmet books and real examples on this forum. Then your using your time wisely.

    Hello Mikey
Just the mention of Ioffer is enough to push my blood pressure up to ridiculous levels. On the very rare occasion that you might
actually see something that looks authentic you will have to ask yourself the question...Does the seller really have the item in
his possession, & if you bite the bullet & buy, is this the same item that you will receive, if indeed you receive it at all? Mate, the
site is crap & is just not worth the risk. Avoid it like the plague.

    Regards
    Brett

Don't get helmets on I offer it's not a good site, I don't trust the sellers.

Some good sites are international militaria antiques, or german helmets inc.
