True, but it does highlight the pitfalls of certain types of relic collecting. especially when your dealing with auction sites, there is no guarantee as to where the relic was found , unless you become knowledgable of the true relic finders that will excavate areas that have produced numerous items but not grave areas, all this is done by research and should they come across graves they will notify the authorities and ensure that all due respect is given to the remains found, we have quite a few on here who rigidly stick to the rules of decency when dealing with soldiers last resting places and it would pay you to associate yourself with them as they will sell their finds at reasonable prices and produce confirmation as to where found and most times provide photos of same, and invariably their items will be in more solid condition
fair point, but the article is a nice read none the less!
all the best,
Stefan
Very good article
Yeah right, so if i ask the seller if the helmet was found in a grave, he will admit it? No way.

Thats why i said to deal with the respected members on this site who have and constantly post their finds and show the areas that are being excavated and any subsequent actions taken when finding a grave
I have contacted 3 members of the site regarding relics because i saw their posts here. One of them is selling only in ebay, which is not of my interest. The other one said that he never sells his findings abroad as a matter of principal. Never understood what he meant but i respect every person's point of view. The 3rd one accepted to sell and i totally recommend him to any member in here. A very nice guy, polite and most of all descent. I'm talking about Guerilla. He is a digger in Narva-Estonia. He doesn't have many items for sale, but when he has he's the right guy to buy from.
