LW winter camo
Hi guys,
I was looking for a non-relic helmet really, then came across this winter camo relic and couldn't pass it up.
It's been featured on this forum before as a relic from Denmark, although the seller told me it was from the Bastogne area
I guess we will never know where it's from.
Also, it came with a loose liner size 64... the helmet is a size 66...
Oh well, no biggie... the price was good and the shell doesn't seem to be messed with (to me anyway).

A lot of job to do but i want to see it without the dirt.
Be very careful if you do try to clean it, the white 'paint' is likely to be whitewash and therefore water soluble.

The mud that's still on it is rock solid, I think cleaning it off would require soaking it in water, and I don't want to do that.
I will definitely leave it as it is thenby Glenn66
