Re: M40 ET68 winter camo relic
Not for me, the 'patina' is heavy but it looks forced, and not gradually attained. Overall it just has a false look to it that is hard to put into words....
Expect to pay about $4000 for a good winter camo.

Re: M40 ET68 winter camo relic
First impression is i don't like it, but better pics of the inside and real good clear close ups of the outer shell would be nice. I don't like the edge of the helmet. The wear is too uniform.

Re: M40 ET68 winter camo relic
Wouldn't be for me for the reasons already stated , the wear isn't in the places you would expect and where it is worn it appears contrived !!

Re: M40 ET68 winter camo relic
Thank you guys! As stated by KradSpam, it does have a heavy looking patina but even I felt there was something off/contrived about its whole outer appearance... so, I'm definitely staying away from this one. I'll just have to keep on looking until a good one pops up I guess

Re: M40 ET68 winter camo relic
Basically you would expect the same corrosion on the skirt edge as found on the inside of the skirt. Not too many pics of the inside of this helmet.

Re: M40 ET68 winter camo relic
Thank you Slados. What's with the right side of the skirt? Looks "funky". So the liner was changed and the liner rivets not? hey have the same white wash as the rest of the lid. This is also a little "funky" IMHO.

Also it is even more "funky" that the vent hole is corroded but no corrosion right next to it where the paint flaked off.
