many thanks dan for having a look, to my eye in natural daylight what paint i can see is uniform to the whole shell and it seems to look darkish green i know it is hard to judge from photographs and yes you are correct it can be pretty wet here in wales i would love to see a group shot of your 26 examples it would be an awesome site cheers from up and over james
