Hi, came across this relic m42, the seller claims it to be Normandy camouflage, just after any opinions on whether this is true and what the value of this kind of helmet would be.
Fairly long stretch of the bow to call that a "Normandy camo". More likely we could say some evidence of winter camouflage.
A rubbed and scrubbed relic helmet.
Agree calling it a Normandy is a stretch. Really no way to tell what it was. A lot has been lost given the relic condition and scrubbing.
