They sure look fragile. Some will say just to leave them alone but if it were me, i'd be looking for some of that non-smelling fish oil stuff that member Qotd swears by. Don't use WD40 as it attracts dust and some say, moisture also. Plus it smells...

I really do like the relics. I have some pretty nice helmets too. Nothing to brag about compared to some of the collections here. These examples posted still retain a decent amount of original paint and ghost decals. The rust coming off them isn't too bad. I have all 4 seasons where I live, and want to preserve them.

The fish oil I get here doesn't smell at all!!!! Nix, nada, bugger all......no scent nothing

It's in a spray can, can get it from most hardware stores
