Article about: Had this for a few decades. Norwegian Home Guard recycled these,I believe.It is marked SE65 , 3286 on the shell. The inner And chinstrap as photo. Alex

    I used to have one of these double decal Norway post war reused m35 helmets and most have had their decals removed and repainted so in this configuration they are becoming uncommon.

    These had been covered over with a bit of paint and wehrmacht decals.

    I used to have one but swapped it for a few bits and pieces, i wish i'd kept it now. Nice lid!.....

    I presume the leather liner is not a wehrmacht original?

    This is a nice helmet, I'd like to get one of these at some point. The liner leather is not German.

    Nice to see a 'Norgy' that hasn't been mucked with - these are becoming collectable in their own right. I like it!

    My thoughts exactly, far too many of these nice lids with a lot of history behind them are being stripped of their re-issue paint just in case something more desirable and collectable is hiding underneath. Quite a shame really

    I only have the MKII and i would love to have one of these.
