Relic Helmet, M42?

Article about: by edelweiss123 I know, i think it has been discussed on here before, still not sure on its originality though :/ - - Updated - - Its one of my partner spitace41's and has gone into our join

    Hi adrian, i don't, someone was using it as a prop for display heads they made and i thought id be cheeky and ask if it was for sale. They said yes and what i thought was a reasonable price and threw one of the display heads in for it.

    Hi Guys, I seem to recall reading somewhere that helmets were rendered unservicable by having holes put in them with pickaxes. Could this have been the case with this one.

    This certainly happened at the end of WW1, so perhaps it happened at the end of WW2.

    This one looks like it has come from a surrender point or POW Dump as a pick axe or similar was used in some locations in WW2 as well !!

    The display head that came free with it showing one of our other helmets. I think they're quite good to be honest
