So I would normally never go for a German helmet on my own instinct purely based on the fact I know nothing about them, and many are heavily faked.. Same with the armband I recently got, forum said it was good so I grabbed it. Now I stick within the US realm of military supplies but seeing as this guy selling a German helmet lives down the block I might as well see if its good before I make an offer. These are his pictures I am posting, and I put it in relic helmets because the missing liner, I wouldn't even know how to categorize this. What do you think?

My fear in this situation. Wouldn't this be some type of Luftwaffe helmet with the bird decal? Just trying to remember what I've seen on here. And that looks like a sketchy attempt at a camo, or piss poor lighting. But then again, I don't know anything about German militaria.

you need closer pictures of the decal and of the paint.
Yes it is a camo Luftwaffe helmet original I do not know I can not tell.
