Hi Guys, glad you are liking the forum.

Please don't add your lids in this thread though, make new threads about them if you have not shown them before.

One thing I am doing to do is keep any SS helmets within that specialised sub forum regardless of the relic nature of them in order to preserve any knowledge of these in one place.

THANKYOU Ade!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew there was a lot of relic threads!!
So those fortunate enough to have a SS relic keep theirs in the SS sub-form? maybe in the footnote to the relic forum you can make mention of that?

I have never posted pictures of my battle damaged helm on here before

It's a very good looking helmet. I would say it is both battle damaged and maybe a few frost cracks. That lid have taken a good beating
