This helmet is currently for sale. I have only received these pics at the moment - hopefully more coming shortly. Any thoughts on this helmet welcome.

    No good.

    Bad shape and air vents.

    Cheers, Ade.

Would you like to tell me the price, I'm not sure what price a Fallschirmjäger helmet in that condision would cost, not that I collect Fallschirmjäger items :P

    Indeed it is.

The faker added the bullet hole to try and cover this up. But the idiot omitted the two rear holes for the chinstrap fixing. DOH!

    Cheers, Ade.

These are highly sought after and even rarer. If real , it would be in the $5,000 range IMO. Ive been looking for a decent one for a while now..

Indeed! But real steel helmets are hard to drill out, never mind forming the indented holes for the liner bolts. Too much like hard work.

All they are interesting in is making a fast buck. Some mug will buy it rest assured....

    Cheers, Ade.

Spanner bolts look wrong, especially the position.

Maker marks should tell enough. You are always looking for a ET helmet with the digits close to the letters, digits can't have foots.
A lot of reproductions are missing the maker marks, and chinese copies fail to come close, fortunately.

This one will most certainly not have any makers marks, as they would have been on the cut off skirt.

Pity about the poor M35, as adrian said a bullet hole in the back to cover the rear split pin hole but he missed the rear to. Just a quick buck to make on someone that doesnt do the research first
