Default FJ M38 helmet from Antique Store!

    Hello all,

I become this Para from an Antic Store, he knows that I collect Militaria, so he call me yesterday. I think its a good one with "ET 68 and marks" on the shell. The Inlet has not survive the long time. The straps are dry but original, the srews too.

The Paint inside the Helmet is original, outside I think it was rework.
    Thanks
    Nikolaus

Sorry but this is a chemically aged fake. New red rust. Old rust is almost dark brown/black.

The profile to the helmet is wrong and the liner screw bolts should sit in indentations which these do not.

    Cheers, Ade.

Thanks for comment,Ade. I don`t know Para fakes with the typical "ET Marks" on the shell. What do you mean, with the profile of the Helmet?

    cheers

the et marks are easy to make for a faker and if not from them then it can be a post war bgs or gsg9 helmet then they have the marks as well, if you take a close look on the side of the helmet you see a difference and as ade sayd the rust is a go away, what did you paid for this one just for intrest

FJ helmets have been faked for many years now with the correct "ET" makers markings. By "profile" I mean the shape of the helmet.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Ade,Klinger,
I mean not the"ET 68" stamps. I mean the "line marks" on the Edge of the shell.Look at Photo Nr.1.
I thought this were not faked! Please explain when I`m wrong.

The fold line was not original faked years ago, but it is now.
