    Default M38 Helmet authentication

Hello, first entry to this forum area. I tried to be better than stupid novice just asking real or not. Did some research first in this forum, cool stuff.
I wonder did i do my homework well.
My dad bought this helmet years ago, and i must deal with it. Helmet is dusty in pictures.

    My remarks
-ET68 and helmet leather size markings match
-Liner buttons looks good if im correct.
-There is imprint inside fold to the rim, partially seen here and there. Best seen in forehead area
    -Chinstrap is fake, yes?
-Chickenwire is not period made I think. Looks cool but it collects dust, should remove it.

Dayum. I thought helmet is real and all other is fake. Well I feared worst.
Usually I start to get headache when I start wondering authentication of some item. Good thing I dont collect german stuff too much. It has too much minefiels to fall on.
