    Default my para helmet

Here is my para helmet i got my mits on a few yeras ago.
It came from Crete and was found in an old garage .
As you can see the eagle has been re applied by the last owner. But if you look hard the original one is just visible underneath .
It has a replacement liner and strap also.
There is a bullet hole in the front and a crack in the rear where it tried to exit the helmet.
The paint is origional and the national colour embelem is just visible.
not the best example but im happy with it.
Ive a Junkers badge go with it as well . Its quite an unusual one as the wings of the eagle are not cut out as most of them are .

The helmet is fake and aged IMO. Cant comment on the medal, but i dont like it so far.

At best a repainted relic, but I doubt even that I am sorry to say.
    Regards,

    Whatever its just an opinion.

I'm afraid you're right about the badge, but in a bad way. It's a Juncker alright, but without the 'c'... Everything about it is wrong, an awful fake.

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.

The ET 68 shell stands a fair chance but definitely adulterated postwar. Has the scoreline on the crimp edge and the raised "T".
