Run away from it, and if you have bought it - then return it. Its a fake. Just look how crude the rim is.... and that's only for starters!
In all fairness, if one has not owned or handled a few examples of originals, or some who don't have a photographic memory & can't recall what an original should look like, this is probably the most common helmet for a novice collector to get burned on. Some repros/ refinished FJ helmets are done very convincingly to those that are unfamiliar. The liners are usually the telling factor, the straps too but recently I have seen post war straps that are really good. So it is a dangerous area to get involved in.
This one has nothing going for it, an obvious fake. If you had even a remote thought this might be original, something you may think about staying clear of for now until you find a very reputable dealer to buy one from.
