Hi,
Finnish army used British general service gasmask during WW2. It was issued to frontline troops and it can be seen from wartime photos. Below is photo from archives. British gasmask bag is seen and camoed Swedish made M26-steelhelmet.
Kss is for Gas defence equipment. In 1942 different letters were added below SA-stamp to tell which category of supply equipment belong. Here is a list from 1942
T = Taisteluväline (ordnance)
Int= Talous (clothing, rations)
L=Lääkintä (Medical)
E= Eläinlääkintä (Veterinary)
P= Pioneeri (Engineer)
V=Viesti (signals)
Kss=Kaasusuojelu (gas defence)
K= Kuljetus ( Vehicles, Bicycle, ski)
Thanks Rami good to see a photo of it in use
Thx for correction RamiS
I mess big & small letters, KSS = Keskussotilassairaala.
