Thanks Closer! Yes, many Swedish volunteers helped Finland during the Winter and Continuation War and I am thankful for that. My ancestors also participated in the wars.

Im proud that our ancestors fought together and helped Scandinavia and the countries
But ofc theres was 2 sides in Sweden ... One that helped the nazi German and One that helped Denmark,finland,Norge.

That's ok mate, I'm sure that you will catch up on it in no time. I'm really grateful that other countries helped Finland during the wars and didn't leave us all alone. My grandmother was evacuated as a child to Sweden.

Oh , okej , yes Sweden did take much war "refugees" at that time . I Think refugees sound so rough when its
Scandinavians i Think is more like Brothers and sisters ...


I Think Finland would helped Sweden if we were in the same situation =) + i think its was our duty to help our Scandinavians countries

I think so too. Although Finland isn't really Scandinavian culturally, we belong to it by geography. My Grandmother is of Norwegian origin, so she has Scandinavian blood. Welcome again, it's really nice to see other members from countries next to mine!
