Finnish Brigade armband?
Hello everyone.
I have this armband that my Great grandfather wore during World war 2. He was Finnish citizen and fought for Finland.
The question remains for me, what is it? We believe he was in a Jaeger brigade but more than that, i don't know at this moment ( there's tons of documents from him and about him ).
He sketched a lot during the war so i might upload some of that at a later date.
We also got Carl Mannerheims signature that he sign when my Great grandfather died by getting Shot in the jaw and died later at field hospital.
Anyway , hope someone can tell me what I'm wearing!
Best regards

Oh okay! Thank you for the info. But is it military related or just basic school? - What does the G and S mean?

Thanks!
Well he was actually around 16-17 the year 1937 and died at 22.
And the (VI) i have no idea what this could be, maybe some kind of class number?
It would be fun to track down where he went to school. At the age of 17-18 he lived in Germany, may explain the colors.
I'm very glad to finally know what this is, thank you guys!
