Carrying on with my Finn Helmet Buying Binge, this M40 helmet arrived from IMA in the US yesterday - I certainly can't fault their service - 11 days from ordering until it arrives on my door step in New Zealand is pretty good, but I guess you get that when you pay USD$76 for freight...

Made by Emailwaren in Fulda, size 64 with a lot number of 22123 which from my research dates it to 1940 - I think...

Its been relined with a 1950s liner and used after that. Overall I'm pretty happy with it.

Nice helmet , you find these liners also in some of the wartime helmets , so could be relined any time from the 1940s to the 1950s
